We are a group of 6 travelling on a cruise ship which arrives in Ho Chi Minh at 8am and departs at 2pm the following day..what would you suggest would be the places to visit.
The tours provided by the cruise ship are expensive -as an alternative can anyone recommend a reputable tour guide with good english.
We are also looking for suggestions for Nha Trang for one day.

Are you looking for a tour guide from HCMC to Nha Trang? I don%26#39;t think you can make it on 1 1/2 day lay over in the city though.
I used Viet Travel while I was in Nha Trang, they were really good. They have office everywhere in VN. Try google them on the internet.

The company I usually use for my car rental %26amp; domestic flights here is run by a former VN tour guide, she knows loads of good guides %26amp; sometimes comes out of retirement herself for the occasional job!

Beware - lots of companies here claim to supply guides but you can easily end up with someone who speaks poor English, is paid peanuts so will fish for tips/commissions, or is just an untrained tour escort who has little knowledge of the places you%26#39;re visiting. Nhung should be able to supply you with a real pro!
