Howdy all, long time reader...first time poster. Does anyone know what has happened to BC%26#39;s? i heard that they are moving. Have they found a new site yet?

Home is a really nice spot, although the original spot will be missed terribly - such a great central location! I missed the farewell party, but heard it was a blast. Now - is it true that McDonald%26#39;s is opening in the old BC spot????

the fact that BC%26#39;s is making way for a macdonalds is a tragedy. Surely we have enough maccas in the world???? a real shame.

I think it%26#39;s just a rumor at this point- but one I heard within hours of returning to Hanoi! Everyone seemed to be discussing it, but no one said it was definite. If anyone finds out, let us know!

Why a ';real shame'; ?

Just because you have too many McDonalds and Hungry Jacks in the world ';you'; live in, doesnt mean the ordinary folks in Hanoi would prefer the likes of Bobby Chinns which basically caters to tourists/expats or at the very best the (pretentious) new-rich Vietnamese.
