my husband and i are planning a trip to vietnam, we will be stopping over in hong kong for 3 nights, and then will be flying into HCMC where we will be staying 3 nights, we would then like to move onto a beach destination where we can combine a relaxing holiday with some sight seeing, can anyone tell me where there is a beach destination near HCMC? we were thinking of Hoi An, but that is too far, and we don%26#39;t want to catch another filght...

Do you know Vung Tau? Vung Tau is a favourite get away place for the well-to-do from Saigon. The town is 125 km from Ho Chi Minh City and the linking highway between Saigon and Vung Tau is just great. Vung Tau is recommended for the travellers in Saigon and have a limited amount of time for vacations.
