Daytrip from Mui Ne to Dalat

We are going to Mui Ne in February, will it be possible to visit Dalat as a daytrip by hiring car and driver?

Hi,You will have no problem doing that.Do it when you get there and try not to get ripped off.Depending on your age you could also jump on the back of a bike and do it that way.

Hiya thanks for the information. This is our first visit to Vietnam, we are going to HCMC %26amp; Mekong Delta before travelling up to Mui Ne for 8 days. Am really looking forward to relaxing at Sailing Club but a little worried we may be missing out on seeing more of this beautiful country. Visit to Dalat will be brill, any other suggestions would be great.

thanks for all your information, am now wondering if we should cut Mui Ne by two days and stay in Dalat take a day tour with easyrider or similar and then fly back to HCMC to catch plane home, decisions decisions! will need a holiday after all this organising

It is very rush for you if you do daytour to Dalat from Muine. iTS VERY far to go there

can we do easyrider style tour around Phan Thiet, is the scenery as stunning there, I have read there is a beautiful beach not to far away Ca Be or something similar

Hi,Okay maybe better tp go stay in Dalat for a few days.Its much diffrent from Mui Ne as it%26#39;s up in the mountains with a lake in the middle of town.Great waterfalls and much cooler.

I know you want to chill out and relax in Mui Ne but 8 days is a bit much as theres not to much to do there.

You could think about going up to Dalat and then down to Nha trang and fly back to Saigon from there.In Nha Trang the mud baths and spa are worth a trip,with great boat trips.Also has a variety of good restaurants.

Thanks for that Viet1, now looking to stay in Dalat for a couple of days and fly back from there. Just one more question, do you know how much flights are likely to be from Dalat to HCMC and do we need to book in advance, also are there several flights a day to choose from.

Yes of course you also do the Easy Rider trip around Mui Ne but if you would like to do it a little bit far so you ca ndo the new road up to Dalat for a day then keeping going more if you like.
