Karaoke?

I%26#39;ve searched and can%26#39;t find any recent recommendations of where to go for karaoke in Hanoi. I%26#39;m guessing that public karaoke (vs. private rooms) is more of a western phenomenon, but I%26#39;m a solo traveler and there%26#39;s no fun in singing to myself...

Also, I%26#39;ve read online that there has been a drinking ban at karaoke bars (in %26#39;o6) at some or all of these places - is that still the case?

Any recommendations for a not so sleazy, public, and fun karaoke establishment would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it%26#39;s easy to find private one. X%26#39;Men Karaoke Shop is a good one, good service and quality. There is also bar in the ground floor. It%26#39;s on La Thanh Street. On Vong street, you can choose a suitable one.

The best way is you ask a friend in Hanoi, he will show you exactly interesting place to sing Karaoke
