Be very careful going to this bar - they rip you off. It is on one of the corners of the main street in the backpacker area. There are loads of touts on the corner trying to get you in. They tell you about these 2 for 1 offers on beer (which only then brings it to the same price as the other bars around) and then take you in and sit you down. Then when you come to pay they tell you that the offer is only valid if you had sat upstairs!
You feel really ripped off but there is nothing you can do - they just blame it on the tout%26#39;s engligh being poor - despite it having been fine when he took you in! Avoid - there are loads of better places with better atomsphere

A shame. This place was a refreshing change when it first opened back in 2004, but now looks like it%26#39;s gone the same way of so many other bars in the backpacker area.

I don%26#39;t go to backpacker very often but when I do I favour Le Pub, good staff, decent food and daily special offers. Friends tell me that the new incarnation of Allez Boo in the same area is better than the old one but I always found the service there to be a bit hit or miss. Maybe it%26#39;s improve There are loads of other smaller bars in this area, I%26#39;m sure most people will find something to suite their tastes.
