Bac Ha Market - Sapa 2D/3N

Hi, we would like to include Bac Ha Market in our Sapa 2D/3N tour with an overnight in Sapa.

Has anyone been on this tour recently? Is it necessary to book in advance? Which is better, book in Hanoi or Sapa? Appreciate feedbacks and recommendation of travel companies.

We%26#39;ve been come back from Sapa - Bac Ha 2Ds/3Nstour. We booked in Vietcranetravel.

I think if you would like Bac Ha include U must starting from sat-night train. next morning ( sunday) u go Bac Ha market and will be back sapa at that day and overnight in sapa.

I think U should book tour in Ha noi better. They organized PR so good.

BAc Ha Market is opened on Sunday only. So I f you want include BAc Ha market in Tour Sapa, you have to leave Hanoi on Friday or Saturday

Option 1:

Fri: Hanoi - Laocai ( O/N on train)

Sat: Laocai - Sapa your (O/N in SaPa)

Sun: Sapa - Bac Ha - Laocai - HAnoi (O/N on train)

Option 2:

Sat: Hanoi - Laocai ( O/N on train)

Sun: Laocai - Bacha - Sapa (O/N in Sapa)

Mon: Sapa tour - Laocai (O/N on train)

Under $US may be difficult to get a package but you can always do it yourself. Bac Ha is nice and the busiest market in the area. However, it is also quite commercial now. This time if good because it%26#39;s ';off season'; so the market is less touristy. I you have ';cost leadership';, by train ticket in Hanoi and join a tour bus in Lao Cai for Bac Ha then later to Sapa. For tourist train, Et Pumpkin is the cheapest now. Better quality should be Tulico. Cheap hotels in Sapa are plenty. If you are not travel alone, it is recommended to book a car to Bac Ha and onto Sapa in advance as it will be afordable.
