does anybody have an opinion about cham Villas and is there much to do in Pan Thiet town. is it possible to hire a private driver to drive 6 of us from HCMC to Pan Thiet resort?

You ';definitely'; need to read my recent review of Cham Villas!!! We stayed 5 nights and could have easily stayed another 5!!! This was our second time in Mui Ne and we cannot wait get back there again, particlualry to Cham Villas. We have always caught the bus down from Nha Trang, but there is no problem in arranging a driver from HCMC. There are previous threads on this - I actually posted the question recently, so just search it.

As for what to do in Mui Ne (that%26#39;s where you stay, not Phan Thiet) well, really not a lot, but relax, eat, drink, sunbake, massages. However, there are daytrips you can do (although we have never got past the relax part of Mui Ne) There are sand dunes you can visit, which are apparently quite spectacular, but I cannot advise what to do for sightseeing in this area, but I%26#39;m sure someone else can elp you out!!

My husband %26amp; I stayed at Cham Villas April 2008 and absolutely adored it. It is quiet, calm and beautiful. As for Mui Ne, just relax, eat and swim. We caught Sihn Cafe bus for about $10 and 4 hours from HCMC. Have fun.

We tossed up whether or not to stay in a beachfront or garden bungalow and in the decided on the garden bungalow - we were actually only one back from the beachfront. A lot of people said that whilst the view is lovely, the sea is very noisy at night and Mui Ne beach is very windy, so you are a little more protected just off of the beach. All of the bungalows are the same regardless of where they are positioned, in fact some further from the beach are even a little bigger. I would definitely do a garden bungalow next time as well.

As for the Sailing Club - having wandered thru there both times we%26#39;ve been in Mui Ne, we even had a drink at the bar one time, I think it is very over rated and expensive for what you get and the location is a bit average, a little further up the main road. Nowhere else in Mui Ne is anything like Cham Villas, so best not to compare anything to Cham.

Best bet is to get onto your bookin at Cham asap, so you don%26#39;t miss out...you%26#39;ll love it!!!

thanks so much for your advice. Do you know anything about Victoria Hoi an Beach Resort in Hoi An or Hoi An Beach Resort, planning on having 5 nights in Hoi An as well and also 4 nights in HCMC, any advice?

In regards to Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort. We stayed there at the end of last year and are going back at the end of this year. We loved this resort. We travelled with 2 of our friends and they booked a delux beach front bungalow wich was lovely with outdoor shower. We left it a liitle too late and the delux beach front bungalows were booked out so we ended up booking one of the honeymoon suites.WOW it was fantastic about 67sq/mtrs. Would highly recommend this resort, all of the staff were gorgeous and the day spa we used quite a lot for massages. There is a hug carp fish pond that runs throughout the whole resort..just gorgeous. I think the bungalows behind the beachfront ones are not very private so i would suggest to book a beachfront one. I hope this helps you out.
