Vietnam Airlines

I am wanting to book internal flights for my July Vietnam trip using Vietnam Airlines website. I am based in Sydney, Australia. My local discount flight agency (no names)has said though that the e-ticket issued will not be honoured as we are not flying our international sector using Vietnam Airlines but, rather, Cathay. Has anyone heard of this criteria or experienced problems using Vietnam Airlines web-site/e-tickets? Thanks for any help given

Hi There,

Anyone can book domestic flights on line now with Vietnam Airlines - it has only been possible to do this since the 9th February. You pay with your c/c %26amp; MUST produce the same c/c at check-in.

Many on this forum have done it - so the travel agent is either having you on, or is unaware of the new procedure.
