We are looking for a guide to show us Da Nang for 1 day on Friday 6th March 2009 when the Oceania cruise ship, the “Nautica” we are sailing on calls in at the port of your City.
The ship does offer day tours but we like to meet a local guide to show us around and learn about your city.
We would like to be met at the ship and returned to the ship by the guide.
The guide will be with us for the day, guiding us to the important things to see.
Could you tell us what transport you offer, what things we would do and what the cost would be for the day?
Thank you,
Aussie Ken
Guide Needed in Da NangThis is probably not the best place to make this enquiry, as by forum rules posters are not allowed to tout for business, which anyone who replied to this as you want them to would be doing.
Guide Needed in Da NangThere isn%26#39;t much to see in Da Nang.
Try marble mountain, a 15min taxi ride maybe a little less from the city. The market is worth a quick look, it is only very small.
What else - the crowne plaza and casino constuction site - or shoot over to Hoi an - about 30 mins.
Thank you Skeggles for your advice.

Hi there,
As far as i know, the people at the port Tien Sa in Danang do not allow tour guide to pick you up at the ship, but at the port entrance. Only tour guides from registered travel agents doing land tours with the ship are allowed to do so.
There is not much to see in Danang for 01 day, so i would recommend you to go to Hoian Ancient Town, which is only 30km from Danang. Enroute you can also stop at China Beach, Marble Mounts. On the way back from Hoian, ask your driver %26amp; guide take you to the city center of Danang for a quick look before boarding the ship.
The best way to do this is to hire a guide, and a car with driver.
Please pm me if you need more information
Mr Phuoc
