Good budget accomodation .. help?

Hi Guys

I am looking for some resonablly cheap accomodation in Hanoi...

I need a place that has triple share rooms

In the old quater

Preferablly as close to the main attractions as possible

Somewhere with a nice courtyard or rooftop area would be good as there are a few in our group... we will have multipile rooms...

Budget... well as cheap as possible would be good but up to $35 USD per night...

There ar plenty of them in Hanoi, Old Quarter like: Astoria hotel, Mikes hotel, Royal hotel, Holidays hotel, Bodega hotel, etc.

You could not beat the Golden Sun Hotel in Hang Hanh Street run by Mrs Moon. Approx $38 per night, excellent service,great food in the roof top breakfast area with views over the lake. Extremely central can do most places on foot.

Some of these listed already are a little pricey for you - what about the backpackers hostels? I%26#39;d contact a few of them in advance and see what rates you can obtain. try one of the hostel websites like hostelbookers or hostelworld to compare rates. If you%26#39;re booking for a group though, might want to check in directly with the hotel. Hanoi Backpacker Hostel is probably the best bet with rooftop area you requested.
