has any one arrived in vietnam with only a one way ticket...if so has there been any problems

Depends on the mood of the immigration people.

With ticketless travel and online booking,the relevant ppl are not that particular anymore.

Flash them some Aussie dollars to indicated that you are loaded to purchase air ticket at very short notice and tell them your travel date is ';open';

Unfortunately it is not that easy.

I would suspect that your problem will be when you try and board the aircraft from Oz to Vietnam. It is the airline%26#39;s responsibilty to ensure that you have the appriopriate visas before travel. Heavy fines are imposed if they don%26#39;t abide by that.

Call your airline and check what their policy is.

thanks you also for your advice ...i have been to vietnam 13 times and would definately get a visa before leaving ...i have always had a return ticket before but plan to be gone for quite a while ...getting a muli visa will mean we can travel in and out of vietnam while returning to other countries close by .....just a bit concerned about the one way thing .
