we have one day in nha trang...what should we make sure we see/do??

I think hiring a speed boat to take you out and tour the islands with lunch and snorkling. You can have your hotel pack you a lunch. Spend about 6 hours doing this. Then walk through the local market and town some.

A lot depends on the weather but the mud baths and hot water springs are well worth a trip.

Do one of the day tours that takes in all the attractions including mud baths, village communities, boat trip on the river, cultural sights etc. Just drop in at one of the travel agencies or check with the desk at your hotel.

Great way to see the immediate area.

If you are going to be there for dinner...no trip to Nha Trang is complete without a night out to the wonderful Loc Canh Restaurant (44 Nguyen Binh Khiem) It%26#39;s a great bbq restaurant, where you order your seafood, meats %26amp; veggies and then bbq them at your table over a specalised charcoal cooker - the food and whole experience is amazing.

Make sure you get there early, so you don鈥檛 get turned away, it鈥檚 a very popular %26amp; busy restaurant with the locals and tourists alike.

Mud baths %26amp; a boat trip on the water, swimming %26amp; snorkelling is a great day out, but don%26#39;t forget to visit Crazy Kim Spa %26amp; Gym...awesome if you like massages, foot spas %26amp; facials, manicures, pedicures...it鈥檚 one of the best places for this in Vietnam, and SO cheap!!
