Hue: perfume river and tombs

Hi everyone,

We would like to see Thien Mu pagoda and the tombs of Tu Duc, Dong Khan, Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Is it possible to take a perfume river tour to the pagoda and then get dropped say, near the tomb of Tu Duc to be picked up by the driver?

Not sure about your suggestion, however we did a half day tour with ';Cafe on Thu Wheels'; and highly recommend them. As the name suggests the tours are on the back of a motorbike with the guide driving. In our case my partner went with the guide and I on another bike.

It was an excellent way to see the temples and get some great information along the way at a very reasonable price.

Thanks...but travelling with a 3 year old, so maybe not such a good idea for us. tracey

With the 3 year old you will want to hire a taxi. Ask around for an english speaking guide to go with you. The tombs were not on the river. Be sure to bring lots of water with you.
