Full Moon Festival in Hoi An in May 2009

Wow this is confusing! My hotel does not know when the Full Moon Festival, in which only laterns are lit in Hoi An is in May.

Am I crazy? I thought this happened once a month

The Hoi An Lantern Festival is held on the 14th day of the Lunar Month----I think that in May, this is the 23rd May,2009 and this is consistent with ';Frekl%26#39;s'; previous post when the full moon falls on the 9th May!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this is correct!

I am pretty sure full moon festival date is 8 May. It is 6 June - I will be there - have planned my trip around it.

first time I was in Hoi An just happened to be there at the right time and can%26#39;t wait to see it again.
