Understanding that this site is more slighty geared towards independent travelers, I was wondering whether anyone had done Intrepid%26#39;s Best of Vietnam and Cambodia trip (or any Original Intrepid trip in the area). I am wondering how important the group dynamic is when traveling and more importantly how low end the hotels really are.

Intrepid Original or Travel Alone?
I have not done there tours but know many of their guides.You will be paying for them and head office staff.
You will be able to do the same thing by yourself for half the price.Have a flexible itinery and make many new friends along the way.But if your happy to be hearded around like sheep and go where they want to take you,go for it.
The hotels they stay in are fine,2/3 stars.
So if you are young or young at heart do your own thing.It%26#39;s safe and you will meet up with other travellers who you could travel with for a few days.
