Hi Norm and lil,

Thanks for your reply.Jason Superstar does sound like a good bet but you can%26#39;t also beat good advice and first hand knowledge for other travellers.Cheers.Much appreciated.

We used Innoviet http://www.innoviet.com/ for a morning cooking class in Ho Chi Minh City at the Saigon Culinary School and a three day Mekong Delta trip including a home stay. Both were fabulous, small and very special.. There are many tours available in Vietnam. If you pre-book on the Internet you often will pay more than if you book locally. However that is not the case with this company鈥攖he prices are the same. What Innoviet offers is very small, interesting tours. If you are looking for a special experience and do not want to feel like one in throng of tourists, this is a great choice. They take you off the beaten track and you really get to experience Vietnam and have a wonderful time in the process.

Most tours to the Mekong Delta start with a three hour bus ride. We took an express boat down the river to our starting place. The tour included a bike ride in the countryside, a home stay on a farm with a wonderful family where we cooked together, plus all the usual tourist stops like the floating markets. We visited a noodle and brick factory and took a small boat through some of the smaller canals. It was everything you could want.
