Hi again,

How much would it cost to hire a driver to travel from Hue to Hoi An. About how long would it take if we made stops to look at the Hai Van pass, China Beach and Marble Mountain? Any recomendations for a lunch stop?

The drive is over 2 hours and I remember we stopped at a local restaurant which was just after the Hai Van pass,called Than Tam and located by the beach,it was a good stop.

The trip from Hue to Hoian with stops for sightseeing at Hai Van pass, China Beach and Marble Mountain is about 06 hours. Of course it can be more or less depending on how much you like the place(s).

Good quality car with driver for this route SHOULD NOT EXCEED USD 65.

For lunch, you should make it in Danang; The Apsara on Tran Phu Stree %26amp; Hana Kim Dinh by Han River are both good.

The Apsara is excellent; we enjoyed lunch there. I recommend ordering from the menu (they tried to talk us into a set menu like the tour bus group that was booked in for jus after we arrived, and be aware the seafood may be very expensive.

While you are in Da Nang the Cham Museum is well worth a look IMO.
