Hi as part of a cruise we are stopping off in ho chi minh city. What should we aim to see in our short time???
2 days in ho chi minh city
I would suggest trying to take in the Re-unification Palace and perhaps walking around the Ben Thanh market area on 1 day and organizing the short trip out to Chu Chi Tunnels for the morning of the second day.
This will pretty much take care of 2 days. The HCMC Museum, Notre Dam and Post Office area are also worth a visit if time permits.
You will need a visa to enter Vietnam and this is best arranged in advance.
2 days in ho chi minh city
A one day trip to the Mekong delta.Leave in the morning and back before dark.
