What are the hotels near Sinh Cafe in HCMC?

I intend to book tour with Sinh Cafe ( with office at 246-248 De Tham Street, District 1, HCMC} for their 2 nights 3 days travel via the Mekong River from HCMC to Phnom Penh. I would appreciate knowing the names of hotels which are within a short walking distance from the office of Sinh Cafe so that I can just walk from the hotel to their office and to take the the tour bus which I assume starts from their office.

Tnanks lot for your help.

De Tham is the heart of the Pham Ngu Lao in D1 - you have your choice of hundreds of small guesthouses within 4 blocks. The Elios and AnAn are close as is my favorite, the Bich Duyen. The Blue River is also very good and next door to the Bich. Try the wonderful Coriander Thai Restaurant on upper Bui Vien for really good food. You will see tour buses all over the area, and it%26#39;s not far down Pham Ngu Lao to the Ben Thanh Market and central Saigon.

Above posts all very good. You did not mention how much you would like to spend, that does make a difference.I think sinh cafe has there own hotel above there office, but not sure.Anyway there are dozens of cheap hotels there.Anywhere from $7-$15 per night and all negotiable.Don%26#39;t be afraid to bargain, its all part of the game here.

Dear OnTheRoadToNoWhere

The An An 2 is just a few doors down, and the An An where we stayed is around the corner. Maybe a 3 minute walk.

I finally stayed at the An An 2 for $25.00 (no free breakfast) for a double room and I was delighted with my choice. It has an elevator and was just a one minute walk to Sinh Cafe.

For breakfast I paid 12,000 VND ( 2 scrambled eggs with onions and a baguette plus slices of cucumber and tomato) at a stall beside the hotel. Next stall served a yummy pho at 10,000VND for a bowl of pho.

Thanks to all who provided me good leads on hotel options.
