any advice on the above topic would be much appreciated!! We are looking to stay 1 night 2 days, will this be enough? Also hoping to get a rather nice boat with A/C, clean and safe?? Not wanting to spend more then $200 max each...

2 small cruise boats - say 3 stars at best - price seems a little high for what they offer but at least you know what you will be getting - they respond to email with up to date info

Kangaroo has a good rep, but problem is you%26#39;ve got more than one claiming to be Kangaroo tours. Might want to be sure the one you go with is the real one.

As for the junks mentioned above, I second all of them - there seems to have been a real increase in the quality of boats, but of course prices are up too. Three friends and I just got back from a trip with Indochina Sails - fantastic (but cold and windy this time of year!)

Bien Ngoc Cruise (Footsteps Travel) are the biggest CROOKS on Halong Bay.

For the cost US$110 2D1N Halong on Bien Ngoc Junk, it is the reasonable price, but I wonder that does it included the transfer?
